As a leader with Product Sales and Services (PSS) Department, you goal is to create a seamless ticketing experience for all guests, possess exemplary product knowledge and are able to communicate effectively with our guests in person and over the phone while helping to share their expertise with colleagues. The Lead is responsible for opening and/or closing office operations and maintaining a strong cohesive team.

This position can be located at any of the following locations:

  • Guest Services (3 locations) - These locations primarily sell daily tickets and season passes. It is also an acting guest service and information center. Candidates should have the ability to retain a significant amount of information.

  • Administrative Office - This location sells all of the Afton Alps product line. It is also the central communication center for entire area. Candidates should have a great ability to retain product knowledge. A high level of detail and ability to process complex transactions is preferred.

Essential Job Responsibilities:

PSS Lead duties:

  • Be able to provide detailed explanation with 100% accuracy Afton Alps product offerings and activities to guests and team.

  • Resolve all customer issues that may arise and complete the service recovery process.

  • Supervise sale and return of all Afton Alps products and services.

  • Oversee and own operation of the office including audit requirements, on-going training, safety and troubleshooting sales station equipment.

  • Own the office process, successes and opportunities while ensuring staff has the tools to do their job to completion and our guest service standards.

  • Promote and support department operations and uphold company policies and procedures.

  • Maintain a fluid and enjoyable call center experience for our guests.

  • Office assignments may include supervising call center operations and all PSS locations. These locations include communication in person and over the phone.

  • Open and close sales locations and offices in an efficient manner.

  • Know and connect with staff and deliver the support needed to be successful at work and in Afton Alps.

  • Communicate consistently with Manager regarding operation execution and employee performance.

Job Requirements:

  • 18 years old – required.

  • High School graduate or equivalent - required.

  • Two years guest service experience - required.

  • Ability to communicate professionally - required.

  • Computer experience (Windows XP, Excel, Microsoft Word proficiency) - required.

  • One year cash handling experience - required.

  • Previous Product Sales & Services Supervisor-Required

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift a minimum of 50lbs

  • Ability to be physically active, especially in-season
