As a Beaver Creek Resort Ski Concierge at The Ritz-Carlton, Bachelor Gulch you are part of team dedicated to exceeding the expectations of our guests. We work hard and we play hard. The role of the Ski Valet is to be responsible for receiving, tracking, transporting and storing guest personal and rental equipment while delivering a world-class guest experience.
Assist and greet guests in:
Storage and retrieval of snow sports equipment
Taking ski and snowboard boots on and off
Carrying of ski equipment to and from lift
Multi-task, with a strong attention to detail
Operate efficiently with the ski valet storage system
Offer guests local insight on mountain conditions, weather, ski trails, lift access points, etc.
Deliver an enthusiastic and professional level of customer service at all times
Maintain a neat and organized work area
Answer phones courteously and professionally
Work cross-functionally with other departments such as Rental, Retail, Ski School, etc.
Education - HS Diploma or GED Equivalent - preferred
Work Experience - Experience in a retail environment or equivalent relevant experience is preferred but not required.
Computer Skill - Basic computer skills with ability to learn
Language Skills - English Fluency preferred and Spanish speaking skills are a PLUS
Other Requirements - Excellent customer service skills, ability to handle multiple customers and projects at one time, ability to troubleshoot and elevate questions or concerns to management.
Ability to work a flexible schedule; including some late afternoons or nights, holidays and weekends required.
Ability to work for long hours standing up and in adverse weather conditions.
