Job Summary:
Golf Maintenance Lead- Under the direction of the Superintendent and/or Assistant Superintendents. Duties may include but are not limited to: Daily inspection of golf course conditions, assistance with safety training, assist with fertilizer applications, weekend staff supervision and oversight of proper daily work assignments s including special project work. Responsible for instructing staff on proper/safe equipment use and work methods, performs and/or supervises special projects and reports all disciplinary/quality control issues to the superintendent and assistant superintendent in a timely manner.

Shift Availability: Full Time
Job Responsibilities:
Arrive on time and ready to work for each schedule shift
Overseeing job performance and inspecting course conditions
Enforce safe working conditions with all job assignments
Supervise staff on scheduled weekends
Quality control documentation and proper reporting
Responsible for instructing staff on proper equipment use and work methods
Supervise special projects
Reports all disciplinary issues to the superintendent and/or assistant superintendent
Ability to perform irrigation repairs
Knowledge and ability to set up the irrigation computer for nightly watering
In-depth knowledge and operating proficiency with regard to all equipment used in the daily golf maintenance operations
Other Duties as Assigned
Job Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED required,
Must have 3-4 years of experience in all aspects of golf course maintenance
Valid driver’s license required
Basic computer skills
Ability to comprehend written and oral instructions in English
Must enjoy working outdoors in a variety of weather conditions
Applicants must be knowledgeable in all aspects of golf maintenance in order to train and instruct team members on the proper methods and safety procedures
The expected pay range is $23.00 - $25.99. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
