The Front Desk Guest Services Agent assists with all aspects of a guest’s stay with Keystone Lodging including answering incoming calls in a professional manner, determining a caller's needs and directing the call appropriately. This position will follow all front desk procedures to ensure a professional and genuine guest experience. This person will possess outstanding customer service, interpersonal and presentation skills in order to assist and resolve guest issues and complaints.

Job Specifications:

  • Expected Pay Range: $20.00 / hour

  • Shift & Schedule Availability: Full Time

  • Skill Level: Intermediate

Job Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

  • Welcomes guests in a warm, friendly, prompt, and professional manner

  • Answer guest questions about resort activities, transfer calls, takes guest messages, and assists guest needs with AAA standards.

  • Dispatch Keystone Emergency Services per established procedures, log all dispatches, contact additional agencies/resources as needed.

  • Assist Owners and Guests with luggage, room-moves, wheelchairs, cribs and rollaway bed requests

  • Receive housekeeping requests from guests, owners, employees and dispatch to appropriate housekeeping department.

  • Receive maintenance requests from guests, owners and employees and dispatch out to appropriate Property Management office and log all calls

  • Explain guest pay folios over the telephone and e-mail receipts.

  • Register guests, issue room keys, provide information, process payment for stay, and close out guest accounts at time of check out.

  • Exhibits a professional demeanor through appearance and by maintaining a positive attitude toward all employees, managers and guests

  • Performs all duties required of the front desk staff and capable of assisting other property management and hotel staff, as necessary.

  • Assist at other front desks, internal and external departments as necessary

  • Utilize all guest profiles to personalize the guest experience and provide preferences on accommodations and services

  • Exhibits excellent hospitality guest service skills and demonstrates a strong attention to detail and follow up.

  • Complete shift duties, follow procedures to ensure completion, pass to next shift as necessary.

  • Develops a strong working relationship with co-workers and managers throughout the property to ensure communication and teamwork are at optimum levels

  • Notifies manager or lead if any equipment is broken or supplies are running low

  • Practices safe work habits in all types of duties and with all equipment

  • Ensure the department leads the charge in regard to recycling efforts and environmental initiative.

  • Complies with all Resort policies, procedures and standards of operation

  • Other duties as assigned

Job Qualifications:

Read, write, and understand English -required

Able to sit or stand for 8 hours -required

High school Degree -required

Previous experience in Lodging/Hospitality/Front Desk/Call Center- preferred

Computer-Microsoft office-preferred

Must be flexible in schedule -required

The expected pay range is $20.00 - $24.07. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
