Park City is looking for an experienced Race Crew Lead to assist our Competition Services Manager in staffing race venues and managing that staff during daily operations.

Responsibilities Include (but are not limited to):

  • Assist in hiring and training Competition Services personnel

  • Coordinate scheduling for Competition Services personnel

  • Supervise set up, maintain and tear down of USSA/FIS and Nastar race venues

  • Learn timing systems at both Eagle and Nastar venues

  • Communicate with Competition Services Manager and other PCM managers and supervisors

  • Responsible for maintenance, repair, usage and inventory of department equipment, tools and materials

  • Coordinate on-hill aspects of events scheduled in the Eagle Race Arena, Nastar and other race venues

  • Responsible for safety training and documentation

  • Make safety a top prioity

  • Work with other staff and departments to promote positive guest experience


  • Ability to lift up to, and sometimes more than, 50lbs - required.

  • Ability to stand outside in all weather conditions, for 8+ hours per day - required.

  • Ability to ski/ride outside in all weather conditions, for 8+ hours per day - required.

  • Valid U.S. Driver's license - required.

  • Ability to work with power tools (cordless drills, saws, etc.) - required.

  • Basic computer navigation skills and ability to use Windows-based programs - required.

  • Facility cleaning duties at least one time per week - required.

  • Other duties as assigned - required.

  • High school diploma - required.

  • Race course operations - preferred.

  • Licenses/Accreditations: Valid U.S. Driver's License, USSA official’s license - preferred.

  • Familiar with Windows-based programs with average proficiency - required.

  • Proficiency in reading, writing and speaking English - required.

  • Advanced skier - required.

  • Racing background - preferred.

  • Other: Ability to operate a snowmobile (need a valid driver's license) – preferred.
