Kids Ski School Set Up Crew Lead is ultimately responsible for the overall quality of the Kid’s Ski on hill locations and overall brand appearance. Daily communication and interaction with ski school management to set up locations in a timely and efficient manner. Maintaining these locations to achieve a high quality guest experience by communicating with ski school management. Delegating tasks to team members to ensure all routine locations are set to brand standards. This position plays an integral role in the success of the Kids Ski School daily operations for instructors and our guests.

Additional responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

  • Training – including set up procedure and on hill safety

  • Delegating tasks to team and promoting teamwork

  • Ensuring the job is completed to brand standards

  • Maintaining on hill zones to achieve a high quality guest experience

  • Workplace safety and supporting safety initiatives

  • Quality control - routine equipment maintenance and replacement

  • Driving value for the company

  • Assisting with the yearly inventory and replacement of retired equipment

  • Continuous and superior guest relations

  • Operational duties and maintenance of physical assets and other duties as assigned

  • Communication – with Ski School Management, TAs, Rental Department, Ski Patrol, and Mountain Safety

Requirements:

  • Must be 18 years or older

  • High School diploma or equivalent is required

  • Must possess superior guest service skills

  • Must be able to read, write, speak, understand and comprehend English fluently

  • Desire to work directly with young children and adults

  • Knowledge of skiing/snowboarding

  • Must be willing and able to be outside in adverse winter conditions

  • Must be able to stand for long periods of time

  • Must be able to lift, bend and carry items with a combined weight of 50 lbs. (such as drills, fencing, cattle guards, etc.)

  • Must be able to operate and hold a drill

  • Must be willing/able to work weekends and holidays throughout the season

Preferred Skills:

  • Previous experience with children is preferred

  • Previous set up experience preferred
